We wouldn’t be here without the encouragement from the teachers and staff at South Walton Academy. Within his first year we were able to ween him off adhd medication and his grades went from D’s to A&B’s by freshman year. The staff took their time to understand his particular learning style and helped us navigate difficult situations. We are forever grateful to South Walton Academy. Now we are looking at colleges! He walks in with a smile and comes out just as happy, which speaks volumes! His teachers are not only skilled but also incredibly patient and caring, making sure his autism and extra needs are met with understanding. The entire staff is so welcoming, and the gym and play areas are perfect for the kids to learn and grow. I also love how the school hosts so many events—it really brings families together and creates a wonderful sense of community. We are so grateful to be part of the South Walton Academy family!
