Soldiertown (formerly Jamtown) is a large indoor basketball complex at 31 Fourth St. in Oakland with four hardwood courts and 24 baskets. It hosts the ONBL Summer Basketball League for boys and girls ages 6-18 (two games a week over five weeks ending in championships), plus AAU tournaments, training memberships and drop-in play. It is primarily a basketball facility and league venue rather than a traditional day camp.

Powered by GoogleFormerly Jamtown, now Nike Soldiertown. Nice indoor basketball courts for indoor basketball tournaments. Clean and bright 4 courts available. Clean bathrooms. Took away 1* as it costs $10 for parking but free parking on the street is available. Just make sure to put away all valuables.
The place has been remodeled. Lighting inside is a lot better and also new floors. The only thing is they need more fans ,at least one per court, because it gets warm in there. Over all very pleased. I guess paying for parking might be necessary during tournaments because there's not much to facilitate many cars.
It's a good place for kids and adults. It's a big multi-court facility. Now re-named, called "SOLDIER TOWN" and is sponsored by Nike. It really has more than 4 courts like some others say. It's just when they do games, it's mainly 4 full courts they use, or could use, because the other courts cross each other, so you can't use the other courts during a game without interrupting it. But for practice, there is a total of 24 half courts, so 12 full courts that intersect each other. They also have a lot of star athletes (Golden State Warriors mainly) that make guess appearances. Or that do the basketball camps for the kids.
Fabulous place for basketball. My daughter has played here for five years. Nice courts. Courteous staff. Very clean bathrooms. Parking gets gruesome for weekend tournaments. Frequently, we have to park blocks away. Not fun when leaving after 9 pm walking back to your car.
I love JamTown. Both my grandsons go here every week. The coaches are great with the young kids. They learn great techniques and teaming. I highly recommend JamTown to all.
