Our son started with Coach Meurig and his wonderful Happy Feet preschool soccer program seven years ago, then moved up the pathway to be a full fledged Legends player a couple years ago. We’ve been pleased with the solid instruction and positive encouragement as he grows in his soccer abilities. I can say without exception the other Legends families we have interacted with and observed across the club are supportive and encouraging not only to each of our players, but also to players on other teams. A bunch of 9 year old boys (and their parents!) can be a handful but Coach manages everything with grace and holds himself and everyone involved to a high standard. We look forward to next season.

My oldest son has been a member of the Legends for years And the coach and other parents have always been positive and encouraged all the kids. Coach is respectful with all the parents and works with the kids in a positive manner day in and day out. I would highly recommend if your looking for a soccer club in Wichita.

All three of my sons have been involved in the Happy Feet/Legends soccer programs for about six years at this point. Currently, my oldest is ending his second year in the Legends soccer club (after completing Happy Feet and the Future Legends programs), my middle child just finished up his Future Legends season and is really looking forward to moving up to the Legends, and my youngest is in Happy Feet. We have had a wonderful experience with all of the coaching staff! Coach Meurig does an excellent job of holding players accountable for their actions on and off the field, but does so in a way that maintains his positive working relationships with the kids and their families. His ability to get even the most stubborn threenager child (*cough* my youngest boy *cough*) to participate and grow in his love of the sport is nothing short of amazing to see. Meurig is a highly experienced coach, and it's evident in all that he does. We really appreciate the focus on sportsmanlike behavior, teamwork, and positive interactions between everyone - kids and adults alike - as well as all that the kids have learned about the game itself. We are very grateful to have stumbled upon this soccer program, and hope to continue to be a part of the Legends Soccer Club for many years to come!

We love this soccer club/program! My oldest son has been involved with Happy Feet, classes at the Soccer Box, Jr. Legends and now Legends soccer over the past six years. Not only has my child learned and improved incredible amounts, he has always felt valued and supported by all of the coaches involved. The teams are well ran, the kids get ample playing time/opportunities and the club is super easy to work with at all ages. My youngest is starting his soccer journey this summer and we would not consider playing anywhere else!

My daughter was part of the Wichita Legends Soccer Club this past year. She has been involved in the Happy Feet Program for almost three years, which is part of the same club. We really appreciate the positive culture of the club and Coach Meurig's encouraging approach with the girls. The coaches do a great job of promoting hard work and positivity, and all the girls receive fair and equal playing time. The program is designed to allow the kids to learn the techniques of the game without feeling too much pressure. It's both a learning and fun experience for the kids. We are excited to continue being a part of the program next season!
