SOAR Special Needs runs a weeklong summer day camp in Lenexa for children and adults with disabilities of all diagnoses and severities, including medically fragile participants. Each camper is paired with a 1:1 buddy and supported by a behavior and medical team, with crafts, outdoor games, sensory activities, storytime and worship. Camp runs 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
