My daughter took my granddaughter to the 2-year-old's class and today they came home. Both of them upset. At the tryout last week one of the instructors told my daughter to let my 2-year-old granddaughter run around and experience things. Today another instructor told my daughter not to let her run around because it was a liability. All of the other mothers told my daughter that their 2-year-olds also run around the first week or so. My granddaughter was not challenged by The obstacle courses because she's been climbing and jumping on a trampoline since she was 12 months old. We were getting her ready for this class but after she completes an obstacle of course as she is a 2-year-old once they conquer something they want to move on. Today. My granddaughter started running around after completing the obstacle and because they were in such a small room my daughter was unable to get to my granddaughter (too many adults packed in) and she got worried so she took my granddaughter and brought her home. The instructor actually seemed relieved that she was taking my granddaughter out! After the trial visit my daughter paid and now it's a waste of money because she will not be taking her back. And obviously she will not be able to get her money back because I see all the other reviews say that if you don't continue the service you still lose the money and you have to give a 2-week notice. The only reason we went to this place even though it wasn't the cleanest, it doesn't have the most up-to-date equipment, and obviously it doesn't have the safety standards needed (otherwise it wouldn't be a liability worry) Was because my husband, her grandfather went here as a kid. If you're going to take 2-year-olds you need to be prepared for 2-year-olds. We're not even a gymnastics place and we were able to safe proof our house. And we have climbing stuff and trampoline in the living room.

I absolutely love this gym!! Everything from the staff friendliness to the class offerings and most importantly the class sizes! My daughter gets ample amount of practice in and constructive amounts of 1:1 time with her coaches because her group size is just perfect! Here you are treated like family. Every other gym I’ve been to in Maryville and Knoxville are oversized and way overpriced. You and your family are treated like just another #. We love the Tumbling/cheer program & Coaches here at SMG!

Just had a birthday party for both of my daughter's here, and I am absolutely amazed how easy it was to throw. If you get the mega moutain package they set up the tables, tablecloths, and provide all napkins, cups, and silverware. I'm usually a nervous wreck during a party and feel so overwhelmed, but didn't feel this at all. I 100 percent recommend doing a party here.

We participated in the Friday open gym experience where for your family of kids 18 mo to 12 years you pay $10. There is ample parking and the outside is clean, however it was difficult to locate where the entrance was and there was no visible sinage. We entered into the facility and were checked in immediately. Although the check in was quick it felt slightly less friendly than I would expect for a place that is kid friendly and was more focused on moving you along than making you feel welcome. The baby area of the gym is very limited and has a space that any baby of 18 mo or older would be bored with in less than 5 minutes. The bigger spage did have many areas of activity for the kiddos to play on and test climbing and balancing skills. Yet I was disappointed that the space neglected safety standards by having equipment that was marked off with caution tape rather than just being taken down. There was no signage regarding rules or what you could use or not. It was only once you used a piece of equipment then you were told you could not use it or that it was only supposed to be used a certain way. And also one of my biggest pet peeves was that the space overall seemed dirty and in need of a good cleaning. I will not be returning with my kids based upon this experience.

My child loves it there!!! They are fantastic with the kids and my child learned so much. They have a great staff, with small class sizes. We recently had to drop because of another sport. We dropped within their time frame with no issue at all. We will definitely be going back soon!
