Smarter Summer Camp is a six-week academic-and-recreation day camp held at Norwood Public School in Norwood, NJ for children Pre-K through 6th grade, running late June through early August, 9 a.m.–3 p.m. (with before/after care). It builds math and English skills alongside fitness, sports, art, weekly swimming trips, and field trips; upper-grade students can take AI Explorer and entrepreneurship tracks. Blends academics with traditional camp activities.

★★★★★Suzanne SterkThis camp is just the best! If you're looking for a camp that will not only entertain your child but also enrich them educationally, Smarter Summer is the camp for you! This camp is very organized and well thought out. The field trips are fun and educational (my son is still talking about it), which was important to my husband and I. The hot meal options were delicious (just wait till you see the line-up! Move over boring food). Swim days are great, too! Having access to the Demarest swim club really made it so my son felt like he was going away to camp! Last but not least, the staff was always very warm and welcoming. And RESPONSIVE! If you ever have a question, Austin is always very responsive. **As a bonus, the camp adds photos to their instagram account so you're always getting updates in real time.** We will be sending all of our kids to Smarter Summer Camp year after year. If you're on the fence about it, don't be! Your child will thank you for it, as mine did/does.
