This is by far probably THE BESTchildcare facility in Delco. My grandson attends and just graduated with the pre k classroom and although it was hot out , it was the best graduation I’ve ever attended. From the front desk to each and EVERY teacher as well as the director Mr Jeff , the way they all care for and love each and every student there is exactly what we want for our children. I’ve never been to a school where every teacher knew every student. And the education these kids are getting is amazing. My 5yr old grandson reads writing, spelling, does addition, subtraction and the science and history facts he learned there are next level. I could go on and on about smart from the start but you really need to experience it for yourself. So grateful i found it 🙌🏽🖤 thank you to the entire staff for committing to being the village our children need!

I had 3 children & 9 grandchildren, all of whom went to a pre-school. About 3 different schools. Even though they were all good pre-schools & Montessori I have to say this was the absolute BEST! Even though all of the teachers seem more than qualified my granddaughter Journee was lucky enough to get Ms. Maxine! Journee has learned and grown more than we ever expected!! It's absolutely AMAZING!!

I cannot recommend Smart From The Start enough! It truly has a family feel and I can trust that all the teachers and staff will take care of my children as if they are their own. My son has grown so much in the past 9 months both socially and academically! The cost is affordable, especially with the availability of hours being from 6:30am-6:30pm and breakfast, lunch, and 2 snacks being provided! Knowing that if I am running late at work and that my son is in safe hands eases my anxious mommy heart tremendously. They are willing to work with you and help your kiddos grow to be the best they can be. 100% recommend!!!

Smart from the Start has some of the best teachers/staff in my opinion and experience. I truly love this school and all that they have done in such a short amount of time with my children. I enrolled my daughter (who was 4 at the time) about a year ago after leaving another facility, and the only thing I regret is not enrolling her sooner. My daughter came from an okay facility prior to, but at some point I knew she needed a change. My first initial conversation & meeting with the owner Jeff was great. He was very enthusiastic, personable, and confident in his teachers and staff. And now I see why! The director Alexis is amazing. She is truly the captain of the ship and lets nothing fall to waist side. She is very responsive, organized, and personable as well. Ms. Topping is the co-captain, making sure everything flows smoothly, and is the matriarch of SFTS. The school is always thinking of creative ways to engage not only the kids, but the parents as well. Ms. Maxine is my daughter’s teacher, and she is a gem! She is well invested in all of the children’s education and is truly setting them up for success. Thank you Ms. Meghan for pouring into my baby girl. She really broke my daughter out of her shell and gave her confidence. I now have enrolled my 1 year old son and his teacher Ms. Kay is the truth! How she manages a class of 1 year olds so gracefully is beyond me. She is very organized, communicative, and loving. There’s so many others I could name that have loved and guided my babies, and I appreciate you all. It’s a good feeling knowing you’re leaving your kids with people who truly care about them academically and personally. Sorry for such the long review but we will be moving soon and having to leave the school and I am truly heartbroken! Thank you Smart from the Smart for exceeding my expectations and much continued success.

I’m a single mom, and choosing the right childcare for my son was extremely important to me. From the very beginning, Smart From the Start has exceeded my expectations. The teachers are absolutely amazing caring, patient, and truly invested in each child. I can honestly say I feel at ease knowing my son is safe, supported, and loved while he’s there. He’s always excited to go, which speaks volumes to me as a parent. I’ve seen so much growth in him socially and emotionally since starting here.I’m beyond grateful for the staff and the environment they’ve created. I highly recommend Smart From the Start to any parent looking for a childcare center they can truly trust.
