The Sioux YMCA (YMCA of the Seven Council Fires) in Dupree has served the Cheyenne River Reservation since 1885, teaching Lakota and Y values. It runs summer Day Camp in three communities (Dupree, Cherry Creek, and White Horse) with weekly themes, costumes, and skits; the overnight Camp Marrowbone on the Cheyenne River; and a Leadership Development Program that trains teen campers to become counselors.

Good people, good ideal
We absolutely love the Sioux Y! Their staff are amazing.
Went here with a YMCA group for a a couple of weeks had a life changing experience seeing how drastically different the daily life out there would be compared to were I'm from. Also to see what those people have to live through and with and the YMCA is helping out with what they can is amazing and the staff are fantastic.
