This is such an amazing monthly event . I do not have a good singing voice at all - but I show up , sing along to all the chosen songs and have the best time ever . The energy in this room is incredible and I can blend in and sing along until my heart is content. Deena and her musicians are just fabulous and I leave feeling “ On Top of the World “ . Thank you so much Deena for your time and effort that you put in to giving us all a wonderful 2 hours once a month .10/10 for sure 👏👍

I’ve been taking weekly lessons with Deena for the past two years. Deena is an amazing teacher and is so passionate about singing. She believes that everyone can sing and that it’s really good for you. Turns out she’s right! Singing can be really hard when you’re learning. It’s a mix of physical ability and emotionally connecting with the music. Deena encourages hard work and is so supportive of the emotional aspect. Her studio is a safe space and she encourages students to take chances. There’s no judgement if you struggle and Deena will pick you up and encourage you to try again. I have made such a leap in ability and confidence in that time. It’s life changing confidence. I sing at the Public Rock Choir she organizes. With Deena’s help I sang the national anthem at a Bend Elks game and I auditioned for a musical. It’s also not just singing. Deena is an inspiration.
