Simple Gifts Farmstead is a small family-run farm outside Winchester that hosts a week-long farm day camp for boys and girls ages 6-12. Days run 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and mix gardening, animal care, art projects and games; the program is explicitly Christian-based and framed around building character and practical skills. Camp costs $200 per camper with a $100 sibling rate, and campers bring a packed lunch.

Lots to choose from including salsa, flower seeds, sweet corn, pies, salts, homemade bread, tomatoes, cinnamon rolls, banana nut bread, lemon pound cake, cookies and more. They even have local art for sale. They also have cut your own Zinnias, Marigolds, and Sunflowers. Very good prices! Definitely worth the stop!
