Silver Lining School of the Arts is hands down the best dance studio on the Grand Strand. The teachers deeply care about their students, promoting healthy emotional, physical, and spiritual growth. I don't have to worry about my daughters coming home feeling like they aren't good enough, because they are encouraged so much here. They always come home with smiles on their faces and very energized. Thank you Silver Lining!

We Loved Becoming The Chosen - A Thumbelina Parable. “Once there was the sun…” The adrenaline rush is still there!! Great Job Everyone!! “ “Heaven” is where you are… ” Now that right there is a sign that Thumbelina had to be made into a Parable About Jesus. “I’m just a “Little” Human” lyrics from Christina Perri’s Human was also perfect for Thumbelina. To be able to watch these girls, boys, and young women and young men perform Thumbelina was so exciting, and beautiful, and I just want to say I’m so glad we moved to Forestbrook and discovered Silver Lining. Having a Christian Dance Group So Close To Home Is A Blessing!! You have brought Thumbelina back to life in 2025!! And in a Parable About Jesus!! Loved the dance moves old and new, the music old and new, the love you have for the dancers and their families, and how you Continue Your Education in Dance! Seeing the Dance to an AI of Halle Bailey’s Voice in Wild Uncharted Waters was Beautiful, and Genius! We’re excited for new classes like Acro! I love how you share the leading roles with the dancers. I love how you can see the love shine through the dancer's smile and dance. And the dancers do a great job expressing the negative facial expressions of fear, anger, and vanity for the show. It’s just beautiful. And I’m so proud of Silver Lining. Grace, Patience, and Love keeps growing and spreading to the Myrtle Beach Community. Shout Out To Valorous Church for Hosting Silver Lining!! I loved Thumbelina growing up, and I remember being so excited, and patiently waiting for it to come out on VHS. And now I can’t wait for the Flash Drive to come out! Absolutely in awe of this dance school and their dance recital production. I enrolled my then 4 y/o daughter last year 2021 after she attended another dance school and I saw the dance choreography and music chosen for the older kids/teens at their spring recital. I knew we needed to CHANGE her to a school that had the same VALUES as we did. I kept hearing about how Great Silver Lining School of the Arts was/is so I called and visited. Enrolled our daughter. Everything was so smooth. Like felt like I'm must be missing something smooth. She enjoys it and loves her teachers. But then, I saw the spring 2022 dance production and I was ASTONISHED at how BEAUTIFUL the message was. I realized this school is not one that just focuses on performance but on PERFORMANCE WITH PURPOSE! It was clear they had a purpose and I am so happy that my daughter gets to grow up in and through such a purpose filled dance school. The support they have as youth growing up, the songs, the purpose. Just awestruck. Now, we are going to enroll our 9 y/o son too!!!! After seeing the other senior teen boys perform and their testimony my husband and our son want him to enroll. I cannot be any more proud to say our family is part of the Silver Lining School of the Arts family. I just wish I had realized sooner how amazing the production was, I would have paid for others to have seen such a powerful message. Even my mother-in-law had tears in her eyes (and not just for our daughter). My husband had another commitment and had to leave early and was sad he had to leave. Let's be honest, most recitals he's ready to go after the child we are there to support is done. But this show, it was so much more. It wasn't just a performance, it was a performance with purpose!!!!!!!
