City of Surprise recreation center running a summer break camp for children entering grades 5-7, with daily activities, arts and crafts, games, sports, special guests and field trips, plus a game room with foosball, pool and air hockey and evening-style activities such as dance classes and movie nights. Camp runs weekdays 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. from late May through early August. Fees are $30 per day for residents and $34 for non-residents, plus a per-child registration fee ($30 resident / $50 non-resident); registration is by paper packet turned in at the Parks and Recreation office.

Unsupervised young kids swearing and using all kinds of racist language to each other, all while small children were present. Makes you wonder what kind of upbringing they are receiving at home.
