I've seen a lot of schools and childcare facilities, and more often than not you can walk in and instantly feel how overworked, stressed, and exhausted the teachers have become while doing the best they can with limited resources or lack of support from administration. Every day we walked into Shine, it was evident how genuinely happy the teachers were to be there doing what they loved. We never had any doubt our kids were happy and safe in caring hands. As grateful as we are for the wonderful teachers our daughters have had, it's the strong leadership at Shine that stands out and makes the difference. The director has built an amazing little community for these kids and she remains present and involved every step of the way, allowing her staff to meet their true potential and be the best teachers possible. She gets to know every child in the building while still teaching in the classroom herself. All of the teachers come up with the most fun, creative activities for the kids on a daily basis. The stellar early literacy skills are an added bonus!

The second camp we attended my child had a bit of a harder time adjusting (Not knowing any other kids) the team at Shine communicated with me throughout the day. Director/Owner even let me daughter help with special tasks and had a beautiful conversation with her to help her feel better. As a parent its great to know your child is in good hands even when they are being difficult!!
