Powered by GoogleSioux Council has hosted Klondike at this location the past two years I have attended. Nice location. Cool that it is on an island. Activity games room area is good size. New construction is underway. Cabins/lodges were being moved around and upgraded. Fun to see all the ice shacks when the ice is still thick enough. The steam coming off the lake in the morning is a fun sight as the sun is rising.
This is a once in a lifetime location on an island. There are educational events held year round. My wife and I learned how and made our own snow shoes. This time I was on an Emmaus retreat. Summertime fills the grounds with campers. Peaceful surroundings with outstanding staff.
Great place for family event. Ours is Thanksgiving. Two days. 40 people or so. Kids enjoy gym also.
I was there for the groundbreaking for a new building for adults and youth to be able to have retreats. It looks like another great place to gather as family, Church or friends to share some precious time together with a beautiful staff and location
The lake is what I would call green, but the area is fantastic and I have had so many great memories with the lake.
