That was on February 9th. It is March 31st and I still have not received my refund Even after speaking with them countless times and being reassured that they would process the refund. I would never register my kids for any activity here again because there is no communication or accountability with this organization.

As a parent with a child participating in soccer with SVU this season, it is highly disappointing that you can never get in contact with anyone. The organization is poorly run. It is rare that you receive a call back, email back, or text back, even when it is extremely important or an emergency. I don't feel like my child receives enough instruction from the coaches to really know what she is doing, even though the leader of the entire organization told me the team my child joined was for beginners and that they would teach her everything she needed to know. I would steer clear of this organization and spend your hard-earned money elsewhere if you want your child to truly learn how to play the sport, receive feedback that will help them, and be able to communicate with the coaches and staff when necessary.
★Matthew KinmanFor an organization with such potential and resources in Harrisonburg/Rockingham, it's a shame that they can't figure out how to communicate with parents and coaches. Phone calls and emails are regularly not returned. Try-out results for travel teams are not given for a month and then, when they are, they are sent to emergency contacts and not parents. Horizon's Edge is an excellent facility but SVU is a poorly led organization desperately in need of a communications overhaul. If you can find another option for youth soccer, use it.
