Powered by GoogleI have tons more pics & videos but I really just wanted SIFAT to know how appreciative I am for their work. I visited with my church’s missions trip group & this place is amazing. As I prepare for my 1st missions trip to Africa , visiting SIFAT was exactly what I needed to get my min prepared for what’s to come. Not only the slums simulation but learning how to bring technology that’s needed for the individual experience of the culture I’m entering was eye opening. The staff was amazing & Josiah continuing in his grand parents & parents legacy was beautiful to see. Whether or not you’re planning on mission uh /ministering outside of your home country or you just want more insight on serving others with compassion & understanding from their pov, this place is a must.
The store is a treasure of handmade items from across the world. Love it.
One of the greatest experiences of my life! A truly reviving experience that puts you in the shoes of many brothers and sisters around the world that struggle with issues like malnutrition, smoke inhalation, and lack of access to fresh food, water and sanitation. There is nothing that builds empathy with others more than experiencing their day-to-day lives and this camp leaves you more informed and empowered to go out and make a difference.
SIFAT is a peaceful and wholesome environment. The staff is passionate about their work and there is so much to learn. I’ve been attending programming since 2015 and will continue to do so. If you are looking to open your eyes to the conditions of the world and have a spiritually building experience I highly recommend!
This is an AMAZING experience where you are able to live as people live in a third world country. It really makes you appreciate everything you have and how little some people have. I plan to go back every year.
