We absolutely love Serenity Center for the Arts! It’s a truly diverse dance studio with an amazing owner—she is incredible with our three-year-old son. He’s very energetic, and while most teachers might let a toddler just run around, she finds creative ways to engage him and keep him involved. We feel so blessed to have a teacher who trained at Alvin Ailey—her experience really shows in the way she teaches and inspires the kids. In just a short time, our son is already learning how to pay attention, follow instructions, do stretches, do across the floor, and even mimic choreography. He’s in class with kids a little older than him, which has been great because he watches them and keeps up in his own way. We’re so thankful for this studio and everything it’s done for him. Highly recommend Serenity Center for the Arts—we hope more families discover this wonderful place!

Jacelyne is so skilled and cares about you as a person. It isn’t just about learning dance. She doesn’t just teach movement. She teaches conditioning (the body and mind) for movement, strength training, technique, and helps you to dance with confidence. I love the classes and community here!

Hello! I have been taking lessons from this studio for the past year and I have grown exponentially at this studio! Jocelyn is a wonderful instructor who gives you guidance and tips on what to do to get better! She always teaches wonderfully and makes sure you understand the movement before she moves on! She is always open to questions and has a heart for teaching people who want to lane dance! She is a blessing and I am so glad to have met her and else lessons from her!

Jacelyne is a WONDERFUL dance instructor and loves on my baby girl as if she’s her own. I know my kid is not only safe, but also learning skills, having a great time, and building her confidence each and every lesson. Josh is also a fabulous art teacher for both kids and adults (check out the Paint & Vibe nights for grown folk)! If you’re looking for a place to enroll your children or yourself, look no further!
