Seed Studio is a Durango nonprofit running nature-based art and yoga programs, whose summer camps serve kids ages 6-12. Campers work across media from canvas to clay on themed weeks such as Puppet Theatre, Bugs, Wild Things, Ocean Life, Rain Forest, Circus and Out of This World, and use the studio's Soil Lab garden. The curriculum is rooted in fine-art principles blended with mindfulness practice, and the studio explicitly values collaboration over competition. Seed also runs Seedlings playshops for ages 3-5, K-5 after-school art clubs, and a LITE leadership program for tweens and teens that continues through summer; it serves more than 300 Four Corners families across a range of incomes.
