Disappointed. We toured and loved it! We were very eager and excited to join. I was advised a scholarship application would likely result in classes for my son as the cost was a bit more than we could commit to. Applied over 2 months ago and have heard nothing. When I call I get the run around or no answer. I call and call and email as well.

The School of Rock Shorewood has a very impressive staff. The instructor is knowledgeable and has experience dealing with guitar players who have broken their wrists. The initial exercises have helped immensely. As an adult, I look forward to restoring and improving my skills to surpass their pre-shattered wrist days (when I played in a cover band) through lessons and performance-based music education from the School of Rock. We have now been at school of rock for about 2 years with our eldest. This place has been amazing. Not only has our son learned so much about playing music and developed his skills as a musician; he has learned to play in a group, to appreciate music, and has really found an amazing group of friends who love music just as much. The lessons are great, the concerts are so much fun, and the atmosphere is just so good! The crew running the school are also so great. They run an excellent program and are so easy to contact and communicate with. They and the instructors also just genuinely love working with the kids and watching them succeed. Can’t say enough! Excited our youngest is joining very soon!

Everyone is super friendly and helpful. My son’s instructors take the time after his lessons to discuss with us what he’s doing well and what things he can work on until next time. I tell everyone what a fabulous program this is! Love that the kids experience different types of music and have the experience of performing on stage in a real venue.The instructors are amazing! Their own experiences in the music industry lend such a great depth to their teaching. My son, Rafael, has been in SOR for almost a year and has grown in his vocals beyond expectations. Soon he will add guitar lessons. School of Rock is exactly what he needed to learn to perform contemporary music!
