Saratoga Lake Sailing Club runs a Junior Sailing program of full-day sessions for kids ages 9-18 on Saratoga Lake. The Learning to Sail course runs over two weeks and covers rigging, parts of the boat, reading wind direction, boat handling and water safety; it is built for juniors with no sailing experience as well as those who have sailed but are not yet comfortable rigging and sailing on their own. The club, founded in 1957 and incorporated as a not-for-profit in 1960 to promote sailing and sailboat racing, also offers adult, family and free introductory sailing.

Powered by GoogleOne of the best run sailing clubs in upstate NY. Beautiful grounds and facilities. Membership required.
Great sailing club for sailors of all levels. I'm a windsurfer and kayaker, and the club is welcoming to everyone. Mooring spots are available as well as berths to store kayaks and canoes.
Amazing place, great people, and good sailing. As a sailing instructor i would recommend sailing school. Good set of instructors and lessons for all ages and skills.
Beautifully kept grounds, friendly members, wonderful view of and access to the lake.
This is a great place for lake sailors. The membership fee allows you to keep one boat on site year round. Additional sailboats, kayaks and paddle boards can be added for a nominal fee. The clubhouse is open year round to members and both the house and the grounds are available to members for special events. I've found all members to be extremely sociable. There is a spirit of cooperation. Everyone helps to keep the place maintained and helps with each other's boats. If you're into sail racing, the club hosts races on Wednesday an Sunday every week from May through October interspaced with fleet regattas. In addition there are at least 4 social events spaced throughout the year. Two hard fast rules: no motor boats / no pets.
