Sanibel Sea School offers ocean-based, hands-on marine-science summer camps for children ages 4–18 on Sanibel Island. Part of the nonprofit Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation, it uses the island's beaches and waters for snorkeling, surfing, beach exploration and marine-science activities such as squid dissections, through half-day courses and week-long camps. Financial assistance may be available for some programs.

Booking was very easy through email and they offered different options we may be interested in. Austin was our counselor that day and he was energetic, fun, patient and knowledgeable. We did some netting on the beach and he answered all of our questions and taught us so many things. Sea School was the highlight of the trip for our visitors.
