Sandra Olgard's Studio of Dance has taught a rigorous dance curriculum in Spokane since 1988, with classical ballet, contemporary, hip hop and tap for preschoolers through teens plus adult barre fitness. Its summer offering is a set of open-enrollment sessions rather than one program: four-day Children's Dance Camps (June 26-29, July 10-13 and Aug 14-17), a Ballet Continuation Camp running May 30-June 29 with times that vary by grade level, and a Summer Intensive (July 31-Aug 10, $600) in which dancers learn choreography in familiar and new genres and build flexibility ahead of fall classes.
