The Saginaw Bay Community Sailing Association is a nonprofit that has made sailing affordable and accessible to youth and adults in the Great Lakes Bay Region since 1995. Its Youth Introduction to Sailing serves beginners ages 7 to 13, with additional youth lessons from age 8 spanning beginner to advanced, taught with the US Sailing system. Students sail Optimist Prams solo with instructors nearby in safety boats.
