We loved our experience at SaddleUp! Not only were the stables adorable and very well maintained, but all the horses were so sweet and Shawna was so good to us! She was so welcoming and super knowledgeable, she explained things very well so my 7 year old could understand. We felt super welcomed and not rushed at all. 10/10 recommend!

We just began riding lessons a few weeks ago, and couldn't be happier with our experience! Shawna is amazing with our little kiddos and her setup is perfect - our 2 year old son has the best time playing with trucks and toys in the sand outside the round pen while our daughter does her lesson. Neither of them want to leave when the lesson is done! I love that Shawna includes our daughter in all aspects of the horse experience - grooming, tacking up, ground work, treats at the end, and cleaning up when done. Her lessons are engaging and age-appropriate, and promote good horsemanship & handling habits right from the get-go. Her animals are all extremely gentle and patient with the kiddos, we loved holding her new baby bunny and petting Wilbur the pig! We can't say enough good things about this special place!

SaddleUp Pony provides an exceptional experience for young children. My 3-year-old daughter developed a love for ponies and horses after riding one at the state fair. We were delighted to discover SaddleUp Pony, which offers riding lessons tailored for young kids. They even provide boots and helmets for riders, making it convenient and cost-effective as our child grows. Not only is Shawna highly knowledgeable about the ponies, but she's also wonderful with kids. Her patience and ability to create engaging activities for toddlers with short attention spans make the lessons both enjoyable and effective. The lessons aren't limited to walking around the round pen but include games that help build skills for future lessons. Kids also have the option to ride on a mini trail and explore the open pen. I must also mention how incredibly patient the ponies are with the young riders. Their gentle nature and ability to adapt to each child's skill level create a nurturing and safe environment for learning. I can't praise Shawna enough. As a one-woman show, she demonstrates unwavering dedication to her riders and animals, often working through breaks and meals. In addition to the ponies and horses on the property, visitors can interact with a bunny, pig, chickens, dog, and cat. There's also a playhouse, a mini slide for siblings, and comfortable seating under canopies for parents and guardians to relax while observing their young riders learn new skills. Shawna even offers a horse figurine library for weekly riders to enjoy! I absolutely love everything about SaddleUp Pony and hope to return next summer. It's a truly immersive experience at an affordable price!

Photo dump! This weekends horseback riding with Prince! Anyone looking for horse lessons I promise you will not be disappointed. Shawna is the most patient, kind, loving and knowledgeable teacher I’ve ever met. She cares about all the kids like they are her own. You NEVER feel rushed and your kid will beg to not leave. She teaches them so much and Madison has made strides with her and we only continue to keep growing. She does some cute events for her regulars and she makes you feel apart of the family and not just a one and done. I’m so lucky I found her and if you know how picky I am thay means a lot. You won’t be disappointed! I’ll add more pictures from the start of us meeting them! Seriously a place you join and will be going forever. Thank you Shawna for all your hard work and patience and jusy loving not only your houses but our kids too!

We came in from CA on a trip and Shawna was so accommodating with our dates and times in order for our 2 kids to have an amazing pony experience we will never forget! We expected just a pony ride around the Horse corral, but we got so much more. The kids got to pick out cowboy boots and helmets to wear. Then they got to help brush and saddle up their ponies with Shawna. There were other ponies around to visit with, a bunny, dog and even a pig named Wilbur! We then went to the corral and were able to walk and help lead our kids ponies. Shawna then asked if we wanted to go out her trail through the forest around the stables. What a beautiful surprise and setting. There were kids outdoor toys and a nice bathroom to use if needed. Everything was perfect, and if we lived in WA we would definitely send our kids here for lessons. Everything one could think of to be accommodating to children has been done at Saddle Up. After the trail ride it was back to the corral where my daughter got to practice turning her horse left and right. She even got to do her own supervised lap by herself. Then off to the stables to unsadle and say goodbye to Daisy and Pickles. The prices are fantastic for the experience, don't hesitate and book your kids for an experience they will never forget. It was magical
