Awesome gym- this used to be one of the most high-end gyms in Sacramento. It has vintage Mediterranean charm. Outdoor pool, 2 saunas, steam room, hot tub. Racketball and basketball courts. It is a great gym and very inexpensive.

Some recent problems are a concern - equipment I depend on to justify my visits has been in need of service for over five weeks now - It looks like simple repairs, but nothing is being done. There are often three idle staff at the reception, but no repair people?!

•The staff are cordial and helpful. •The pool is large and well maintained, with a variety of aquatics classes, including activities for all ages and abilities. •The Workout Area is well-equipped and maintained, including machines for members of all abilities.

I have been attending the arthritis water class for probably at least 20 years. It is outstanding and I was highly recommended by an orthopedic surgeon to never stop the class. Pat Wolfe is an amazing class director. I also attended the morning tai chi class taught by Frank. It was excellent as well.

I was incredibly surprised walking in here. We live about a block away and I had never considered using it. I had wrongly assumed that the gym was similar to a hotel. I say this because the top floor windows have a row of treadmills and elliptical machines. Little did I know they are a rather large facility with a pool, free weights and multiple group workout rooms. We toured and discovered all they had to offer and joined that day. It was less expensive than other gyms of equal size. The staff are great and the showers, bathrooms and gym area are very clean.
