Rutland Youth Theatre, run largely by volunteers and the Rutland Recreation & Parks Department, offers summer theater camps for children in grades K–6 who love to sing, dance, and get creative. Campers create their own plays from scratch and get a taste of stage performance, making it a low-key introduction to the program. Two summer camps are typically offered.
