Powered by GoogleMy son is a newer student in the homeschool enrichment program and says his experience has been 10/10 so far. He was a kid who had anxiety in a traditional school setting, who now asks how many sleeps until the next roots class! My son would complain his hands hurt from writing at school, so imagine my surprise when he says he loves journaling when at Roots :) It’s a stress free learning space, with a nice social aspect for him. We have been really happy with the program to date and I highly recommend looking into what Roots offers if you are interested in an alternative school setting, or a homeschool enrichment program.
They welcomed my neurodivergent son with open arms - no judgments or stigmas. We love ROOTS and will enroll our other children in the program when theyre old enough!
The value that Talon and Travis bring to the community is profound. ROOTS is the epitome of "hands on learning" and allow your child to flourish in a nurturing environment. A proper foundation for childhood developmental skills is a mission that ROOTS truly symbolizes, and I am very happy to have them teaching our future.
Roots has been a wonderful place! My children have learned not only yoga but mindfulness and ways to cope and regulate their emotions in a fun filled way that has really clicked at home. My kids love going back every week and can’t wait to find out what adventure/theme they will discover next.
Hands on program that teaches children things they typically wouldn't learn at school. The children get to plant their own herbs, vegetables, and flowers. The program also enriches social skills while children are having fun being outside with nature. There are many farm animals on site that the children interact with while learning!!
