A friend had been encouraging me to come to this place for a while, but being a new parent and my son being 4 or 5 months (2/ 3 months corrected) at that time I wasn't sure how he would do. A couple weeks ago my son and I finally went to their Wed kids session and it was such a great experience. I got to connect with other parents and my son got to be social. He's 8 months (6 months corrected) and he seems to enjoy it. Deff plan on coming back. Plus, Nikki, the Coordinator is very kind.
I'm so thankful for Rootead, especially what they do centered around youth. My 6 year old loves the summer camp and everyone we've interacted with has been wonderful.
I absolutely love Rootead, it’s a great place for my son to play with other kids his age at the weekly playtime dates! They provide snacks for the kids and ample opportunities to try new crafts and experiences. I love having a chance to talk to other parents in a safe space and feel welcomed. I suggest it to many parents who need a community!
Our family loves Rootead! They are an invaluable resource to the Kalamazoo Community! Our son loves getting to meet up with his friends every Wednesday at the Village Play date. They are truly a community and person centered organization that is righteous in every way. So grateful for them!
