Rogers Best Summer Camp and After School Program

The facility is clean, modern, and the staff was always friendly. The owner and staff are professional, kind and address concerns immediatly when presented with them. However, this camp wasn’t the right fit for our family. The biggest surprise was that the kids stayed indoors all day, every day. My kids never told me they went outside the entire two weeks they were there, and I asked every day. If they did go out, it didn't make an impact on my kids (6 & 8) to remember. There isn’t an outdoor play area on the property, so it wasn’t the traditional summer camp experience we were expecting. We were also surprised by the number of additional costs beyond tuition, including weekly pizza and optional activities like Kona Ice visits at the camp and being transported to Fast Lanes. I didn't want my kid to be excluded or not able to participate with their friends, so we always paid extra for the events. My kids did somewhat enjoy the many indoor activities provided, and I appreciated the introduction of Martial Arts and Parkor. Some of the games played were a bit rough for my girls - but I can see how very active kids would love it. They kept the kids active and moving a lot which was really nice. Overall, we felt the camp was expensive for what was provided. While there were positive aspects, we were hoping for more outdoor activity and a better overall value. We won’t be returning next summer.
