Rocky River Ranch has been a huge gift to our family. Both of my daughters have attended camp there, and it truly became a second home for them. My youngest, DK, started the very first summer she was old enough (after 2nd grade) and has gone back every single year since – seven summers in total, all the way through the summer before her freshman year of high school. The growth we’ve seen in her because of Rocky River is undeniable – confidence, independence, resilience, and the ability to walk into new situations and handle herself well. The counselors and staff strike that perfect balance of fun, structure, and genuine care. It’s one of the few places I’ve always felt completely at peace dropping my girls off, knowing they were safe, encouraged, and surrounded by strong role models. Rocky River has been a steady, positive force in my daughters’ lives and a big part of the young women they’re becoming. Our family will always be grateful for the memories, the friendships, and the way this camp quietly helped “raise” our girls right. I recommend Rocky River Ranch without hesitation.

I can’t overstate how much my girls loved RRR this summer! 2025 flooding was devastating for summer camps throughout the hill country, and RRR made us feel safe about sending our older daughter (10) for overnight camp after the worst flood we’ve seen in years. I felt reassured after reading the flood evacuation plan, knowing exactly where my daughter would be, and knowing that the counselors and staff were prepared. My younger daughter (7) had an absolute blast at day camp and is so excited to register for overnight camp this coming summer! She LOVED her counselors. My 10 year old actually asked to go to the longer session in 2026 “because I just didn’t feel like a week was long enough!” She also declared that she needed more challenges with activities- her week at RRR showed her how capable she is and fostered her sense of growth and independence! We’re definitely sending our girls back in 2026! If I could rate over 5 stars, I would. 10 stars.

My daughters get to experience all things I grew up loving about camp at Rocky River Ranch (RRR). As second generation campers my girls get to swim in the beautiful Blanco River, sing songs, make lasting friendships while trying challenging new activities. All things fun at RRR are geared to build confidence and respect in my girls. My favorite thing though is the staff & counselors! Rue, Shanna, Hannah, Summer & their team love my girls like they are family. I know they all care for not only my daughters, but all campers with all their hearts. They want every camper to leave having the best summer ever. RRR is truly a special place.

Rocky River is an amazing summer camp! I spent 13 years there as a camper and a counselor. The owners, directors, staff, and all the counselors care about each individual girl to make sure they are having the best time possible while learning great values and making great friends.

A quote from my daughter, “Some kids get home sick at camp...I get camp sick at home”. For 12 years my girls have counted down the days until camp starts. Amazing people doing amazing things! What a wonderful place full of adventures, making memories!
