River house does a really good job. They are very experienced and have good rates. I have used them for rec and for big groups. I have done rafting, kayaking, and archery all were amazing!

Eugene's hidden Gem. Community based outdoor adventure center focusing on educating like minded people of all ages about the great outdoors right under your nose and literally at your fingertips. So many activities to learn and experience. Stop by and take a tour, you will be glad you did. #getoffthecouchandgetoutside

Best staff, instructors, camp leaders, guides, and outdoor crew there is. Awesome camps, great classes, and wonderful resources. They deserve a bigger and better facility, though they work magic with what they have!

I went on a rafting trip with these folks when I was 14, and a kayaking trip the year after. It wasn’t until I moved out of Eugene (to Boise) that I realized that outdoor programs like The River House are not commonplace everywhere. The educators and experiences I had were professional and unparalleled. The McKenzie River float I did has since burned up. I only wish I had taken more classes. If you’re in the fence about sending your kid to a class or forking out the cash to take a class yourself, you won’t regret it.

This place is such a gift to our community, I appreciate the varied outdoor recreation options for my kid to try. They have great staff and it is well managed. The camps and classes feel safe and respectful of each kids abilities, while also pushing/challenging them to learn more!
