River City Gymnastics is a family-owned Little Rock gym whose summer camp serves children who have completed preschool through entering sixth grade (about ages 5 to 11). The full-day camp runs 7:30am to 5:30pm, with half-day and three-day options available. Camp mixes gymnastics with games and activities.

Powered by GoogleMy honest review of this place: The facility is quite spacious, which is definitely a plus since kids have plenty of room to move around. However, there is a significant downside — it’s quite dusty, and it seems like cleaning is not done regularly. Because of this, dust often gets into the kids’ eyes during practice, which is uncomfortable for them. As for the coaches, it really depends, not in a good way — it’s like a lottery. If your child gets a good coach, they will actually learn something and receive proper attention. But if not, the coach may barely pay attention to the kids, not watch how they perform exercises, and not correct or guide them on proper technique.
We love River City! Both of my children have taken classes there, and the staff have always been helpful and friendly. The flexibility of their camp scheduling is absolutely wonderful, and the programming is excellent. Thankful to have such an excellent spot in Little Rock!
I highly recommend River City gymnastics for a birthday party. My son turned 5 and we recently had a party here. It was the easiest, smoothest birthday party. Our party hosts took care of everything, and the whole party was very organized. The hosts learned the kids names, discussed rules to keep them safe, and led them from one activity. Again, it was a really great experience as a parent and the kids all had a blast.
My daughter who is four wanted to desperately start gymnastics. I grew up going to River City and felt it was a great facility. This place is a disorganized mess. The staff was very rude to me the first day of class. Never greeted me but was real quick to ask me where my daughters mask was. I had four children with me, and clearly had my hands full. It was never intentional. Instead of introducing herself or be kind, she was down right hateful. The whole program for her age group is a unorganized mess. They lady who has taught my daughters class does NOT need to be working with young kids. My daughter, being four, kept repeating herself because the lady would not respond to her. Instead of asking her to hold on, she just told her to be quiet. I sat there at the window and witnessed it with my own eyes. If you do not have patience with children you should not be teaching in a child-centered facility. DO NOT GO HERE! Not worth the $80 a month.
My son is taking the Tiny Tumblers 1 class and absolutely loves it! It is very structured and organized and the owner/manager is always around to assist anyone. The girls that work there seem very sweet and patient.
