Rising Stars Lacrosse runs lacrosse camps and clinics in the Spokane and Tri-Cities areas, founded by lacrosse organizer Jack Theron with Geoff Goodman to introduce the sport to Inland Northwest youth. Its Spokane camp has been held over three days at Spokane Valley's Plantes Ferry Sports Complex, teaching position fundamentals with hands-on coaching from Major League Lacrosse veterans and current college players. Campers drill shooting, passing, scooping, agility and dodging, with most drills done individually so beginners are not mismatched against experienced players; the group is split into older and younger students, and younger campers break off for skill-building games. A coach's pass lets local club coaches observe the pro coaching staff's techniques.

What an upbeat, motivating, exciting and positive experience this camp brought to all the lacrosse players who attended!!! Finally a professional lacrosse camp, hosted by Jack Theron of Rising Stars Lacrosse, made its debut for the first time ever in the Pacific Northwest. Thanks to Jack Theron, Dylan Maltz, Sergio Salcido, Callum Robinson, Nick Beattie, Thatcher Clark, Carter Nielsen and Adam Sawicki for bringing the gift of lacrosse to our youth!!!! You are all to be commended for showing your genuine selves and sportsmanship and you all have left a huge impression on each and everyone that you came in contact with. Counting down the days for camp next year and coaching all of us!!! Good luck in your upcoming lacrosse season👍😊, Linda
