My daughter has been at RH Karate since she was four and in their Little Ninjas program. Since starting, her confidence and discipline have skyrocketed. The entire Pierson family, front staff and instructors are incredible and have an amazing way with the groups of kids they teach with their patience and drive to watch the kids succeed. She has progressed her way through Little Ninjas and now up to her 8th Gup Blue Belt in their American Tang Soo Do program and working (and very motivated!) to get her black belt. We are so thankful and happy to be a part of the RH Karate family!

Richmond Hill Karate is an amazing facility, clean, well maintained and great for training. Master Daniel and the other instructors create a warm welcoming environment to learn, train and have fun while doing it. I can't say enough good things about Master Daniel and the entire team at Richmond Hill Karate. My son has been attending classes for the past 2 years, and the positive changes I've seen in him are remarkable. Master Daniel has a true gift for working with children. I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about this karate studio. My daughter has been training here for almost 2 years now, and the impact that Master Daniel has had on her confidence and growth has been incredible. She is profoundly deaf with cochlear implants, and when she first started, her self-confidence was very low. Through his instruction, patience, and encouragement, she has truly come out of her shell. Master Daniel is very thorough and makes sure she understands each technique, taking extra time when needed to work with her one-on-one. That individual attention has made such a difference in her progress and comfort level. He has a great balance in his teaching style. He maintains strong structure and high expectations while still being supportive, approachable, and encouraging. The kids respect him, and they know he genuinely cares about their success. Not only has my daughter improved in her karate skills, but her confidence in herself has grown tremendously, both on and off the mat.
