Powered by GoogleA group of 11 of us from First Church CL just got back from a week at Redbird in Beverly, Kentucky. I have been on a number of different trips and this one had the best accommodations for the volunteer workers. The meals were delicious as well, prepared by the staff at Redbird. Our project was to remodel a home for a lady that lived there alone. A bit of electrical, some plumbing, flooring and visiting with the homeowner and her dog. Great week for us.
I would like it to be known this organization was gifted my rental home and they would not even speak to me. The listed it to sell immediately leaving me and my children homeless. I know the owner who left it would absolutely be appalled for he was a blessing and would never leave a family like this. He spoke so highly of this organization. I’m completely and utterly shocked by this whole situation. Please do your research before donating to greed
This was a great place to bring a group of teens for a short-term mission trip. We did a retreat type thing every night! It was blessed! The leadership folks are great to work with.
An absolutely amazing mission. All the workers and volunteers are here to help those in need and share the word of God with those around them. Well organized, friendly, and care beyond measure. Words can’t even describe how amazing this place is. If you can’t go and be a part of the work that this place does, pray for those who can and especially those who receive assistance.
