Scouts BSA overnight summer camp on 624 acres along Lake Monroe, inside the Hoosier National Forest about 15 minutes from Bloomington. Seven week-long resident sessions each summer draw roughly 3,600 Scouts, who work through 17 program areas ranging from aquatics and shooting sports to communications and ATV adventures, staying in camp with a dining hall, health lodge and trading post. Established in 1966, it is the destination Scouts BSA camp of the Crossroads of America Council; campers attend with their troop rather than enrolling individually.

We had a blast here at Ransburg! Highly recommend. My kids got to experience so very much in sich a short time. We will be back next year. Edit: We came back! Had an even better experience this summer!!

Excellent Scout Camp, Nice and peaceful for hiking. Far from light pollution for excellent star gazing and watching meteor showers. Biggest hit is "Fossil Beach".
