Quaker Cove Retreat
Private
Quaker Cove is a Christian camp and retreat centre on Fidalgo Island at 14694 Gibralter Rd outside Anacortes. Its current site markets day and overnight facility rentals, cabins, facilities and food service for family, school and church retreats, with group retreat reservations open for 2026 and cabins available for family retreats. Its kids' programming pages are stale: the middle school camp page redirects families to a camp run by Anacortes Christian Church at another location, and the kids' culinary camp page still carries a 2021 cancellation notice for culinary and day camps.
The practical details
We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Quaker Cove Retreat directly before you register or pay.

Powered by GoogleExperience did not meet expectations based on description. We were told there would be access to kayaks and canoes but then told only if one of us was open water certified. No staff on site during stay to assist with that. Cabin was very unclean upon arrival (bathroom had used soap from previous guests, toilet had fecal matter). Fridge was dirty. Socks from previous guests found in bed sheets that we were told were fresh. We had to clean the cabin ourselves. We raised all of these concerns to management upon checkin and nothing was apologized for or remedied; at the very least, a partial refund should have been offered; not impressed with current management. Will not stay here again nor recommend.
The memories created here last a lifetime. Still a beautiful place!
I attended for the first time to partake in creating my own gingerbread house with all the trimmings. I was among many families enjoying a cup of cider or hot chocolate; yummy food and the delight of others starting a family tradition or returning for another. I would highly recommend it. Carl, Liz and their many helpers did a fantastic job!! Gail
Went to a birthday party here and it was quite fun! Large field to play in, woods to explore and beach access, hard to beat all of that! Plus we had the dining hall to use when the rain started. Indoor bathrooms with running water, were a serious bonus! Oh and don't miss the treehouse, it's one of the coolest I've ever seen.
Peaceful and friendly. Perfect end to our holiday. Amazing tree fort! So hospitable.
