Purple Goat Gardens is a small farm at 3447 Lampson Rd in Austinburg with dairy goats, free-range chickens, gardens and a pottery studio, on a largely wooded property with a creek running through it. It runs camps and preschool programs on the farm alongside pottery classes, and hosts visiting school and camp groups; summer farm tours run select Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 12:30pm. Children spend time with the goats, visit the chickens and collect eggs, tour the garden, and in spring and summer plant seeds and learn about composting and sustainable planting. ★★★★★Molly NiskaAll I wanted for my bachelorette party was to hang out with some goats and Purple Goat Garden delivered! James and Emy were so welcoming and knowledgeable. We booked a private “Spend the Day” tour and it was more than I ever could have asked for. We got to spend time cuddling the goats, learned how to milk them, feed the chickens, did a little nature walk, walked through their garden and tried some of the herbs and veggies they were growing. They were kind enough to give us some of their fresh eggs (in a rainbow of colors). If you are in the area a stop at Purple Goat Gardens is a must.

Most love petting, attention and scratches! The gentlemen who showed me around were knowledgeable and great. Sorry, I forgot your names. On a hot day, bring water. I would give more stars than 5 if I could! They offer more things than just goat cuddles. I cannot remember. This was great for a mental health day. There are many amazing opportunities to enjoy the warm summer sun with the Purple Goat Gardens. This place is a must go! The Spring Festival has been the highlight of our summer and we look forward to toddler time😁 they had lots of toys out, a playset with the goats, baby goat cuddles, we got to feed the chickens, and enjoy the farm life. Owners are friendly and happy to share their world with you. The kids will love it, and you will love enjoying nature in an stress-free environment. Even with a (lovely) crowd of people I felt at peace and refreshed after we left; we’re easily drained by public places but that was not the case at all for us. The workers, who I heard are family and friends, were just as happy to help us and interact. Everything is painted so beautifully, fun, and PURPLE! Thank you for a wonderful day.
