Powered by GoogleWe love sending our kids to Primrose! We were at another center prior to Primrose and we wish we would have just been here from the start. Our girls are thriving and learning so much and they truly love going to school each day. They have made such good friends in their classes and the teachers and staff truly care about the kids! We highly recommend Primrose West Chester to anyone looking for quality childcare for their littles.
We recently switched to the Primrose School for our child to be better prepared for kindergarten, and all I can say is wow. The teachers and staff are friendly, helpful, patient and really well-prepared for the pre-k level. Our daughter is thriving in her class, where the kids are generally empathetic, inclusive, and kind to each other, which I think says a lot about the curriculum (I understand that most of the class has been together for the past few years). The school is a happy little place, super clean, and lots of cute decorations that just show how well-loved the kids and the facilities are. It's really easy to get in touch with the teachers and the administrative staff through the app, which is nice. I cannot recommend this school enough - thank you, Primrose!
We went here for several years. There are pluses and minuses. The location is nice. I like that it's off the main road and with a wonderful outdoor space. I don't understand day cares in parking lots with tiny outdoor spaces. They've definitely tried over the years to keep it clean and maintained. The biggest drawback is that the kids are confined to one room. They're nicely sized and go outside a lot, but compared to other daycares that have gyms and such, it's certainly a drawback. The most important thing though is the people they hire. It's been a bit of a mixed bag there. We had some truly wonderful teachers and some I didn't like. They have had some turnover issues here and there, but have some great teachers that have been there a while. It's tough to be great right now with difficulties hiring and places being understaffed, but we never really considered going somewhere else, which I think says a lot.
This is a wonderful day care. We visited 5 in the area before settling on this one. We unfortunately were on a wait-list at first and had to settle for a different day care for the first 6 months and the difference between the two is night and day. The people running this are genuinely nice and provide an environment that is very friendly and inviting. They feel like an extension of my son's familial experience at this point and I can't recommend them enough. The place is always clean and well maintained and the kids have great grounds to play on. Even when there is some staffing turnover they seem to find great people to replace them. I'm very thankful we made this choice and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
I can't say enough good things about this daycare. My daughter was signed up to start prior to the pandemic, but due to the pandemic we changed plans and kept her home as long as possible until we were able to feel things out. The director (Carmen) was responsive and worked with us every step of the way. She really made a stressful time so much easier on us. We started attending 4-5 months ago and my daughter LOVES it. The teachers in the infant room are amazing. I trust them wholeheartedly and they are so kind and patient with the kids. My daughter has a great time and does so many more activities than I have at the house. She has learned a lot and I can tell she is stimulated throughout the day. They also send me pictures while I am at work which is such a nice treat. All of the staff know the kids by name and they have a really welcoming environment. When I initially toured the facility, one of the major determining factor of our decision was the cleanliness of the facility. Even prior to the pandemic they had hand sanitizer stations readily available and the facility always smells nice and is picked up nicely. My daughter is always clean when I pick her up and the teachers are great about making sure my daughter is changed regularly and does not develop any diaper rashes. At one point my daughter was having a stomach issue that was resulting in minor diaper rashes (I was having trouble controlling it at home as well until we found the cause) and the staff went out of their way to discuss a diapering/cream/ointment program with me to make sure they were doing everything possible to help us calm her skin. I am so glad I made the decision to send my daughter here.
