Primrose has been such a blessing to our family. The leadership team and teachers create a warm, structured, and positive learning environment. The teachers go above and beyond — they know each child individually and truly care about their development. We’ve seen incredible growth in confidence, communication, and academic skills. The daily updates and open communication give us so much peace of mind. Choosing Primrose was one of the best decisions we’ve made for our child, and we are so thankful for the amazing staff who love and care for them each day.

Proceed with caution, especially if you are a military family. In September 2025, we paid $780 to be placed on the waitlist at Primrose School at Edinburgh Commons. We were told there was approximately a one-year waitlist, and we paid well in advance because my husband was projected to receive military relocation orders to Virginia in June 2026. At the time of payment, we were not given a confirmed start date — only a waitlist placement. Months later, my husband’s proposed orders were unexpectedly canceled, something completely outside of our control as a military family. Our child has never attended, never received a confirmed enrollment date, and no services were ever provided. Recently, we were contacted and told that in order to receive a start date, we would need to pay an additional week of tuition upfront to “confirm” enrollment — on top of the original waitlist/enrollment fee. Despite explaining the cancellation of military orders and the fact that our child never attended or held a confirmed seat, we were told the initial $780 is strictly non-refundable. Military families often deal with unexpected changes due to orders. Flexibility and understanding go a long way in communities with a strong military presence. Unfortunately, that was not our experience here. Families should be fully aware that the waitlist fee is non-refundable under all circumstances, even if military relocation plans change and no services are ever used. While I understand the policy states non-refundable, situations outside of a military family’s control deserve at least some level of grace and compassion — and we did not experience that here.

We love Primrose! As new parents we were nervous about sending our infant to daycare when it was time to return to work. The entire staff at Edinburgh has been so kind to us and our little one, making the transition to daycare easier on all of us! Highly recommend this school especially for those nervous first time parents ♥️

We have had such a wonderful experience at Primrose School at Edinburgh Commons. Our son initially had a difficult time with the transition, which as parents was hard to watch. However, the teachers were incredibly supportive, patient, and attentive during that period. They truly helped him (and us!) through the adjustment with so much care and encouragement. Now, he absolutely loves going to daycare! He gets excited in the mornings, talks all about what he did during the day, and shares stories about who he played with. It’s been amazing to see how much he’s grown socially and academically. He is learning so much through their daily activities, and it shows. We are so grateful for the nurturing environment they provide and 100% recommend Primrose School at Edinburgh Commons to any family looking for a caring and enriching daycare experience.
