Nonprofit that has run a completely free overnight summer camp near Mattawan since 1916 for Kalamazoo County-area youth who could not otherwise afford camp. It serves about 800 campers ages 8-15 (after 3rd through before 10th grade) each summer, providing everything from transportation to clothing, with outdoor play, swimming and new activities aimed at building self-esteem and independence.

Not a single amount of trash was found during my weekend here. Phone service was somewhat hit or miss, but that might be a good thing to some people. Good thing the main building had wifi! I would love to come back again.
