I am not impressed by this fitness center at all as far as things go in the financial department these people will and dime you for everything especially if you sign the 2-year contract where are they get you. If you miss one payment they're not willing to work with you as far as charging you $15 extra on top of the late membership fee. I will not be signing a new contract with them after 2 years horrible place to work and do business with facility is nice but absolutely the people suck including billing when they don't want to work with you I feel this place is much of a pyramid scheme for nickel and diming people just to get business. DO Not Sign a Contract with them !!!! I still think this place is a ripoff and I will not be signing another contract . I will be posting on all the social media sites about my experience here never again . Regardless of the fees charged you guys are about the money and not the consumers !!!! Horrible place

This is one of the most established gems in Madison, Wisconsin. The facilities offers services for all ages. with a wealth of variety of programming leisure all the way down to personal training and group fitness classes. Look no further. This is the place you want to be.

Have been a PAC member since 1995. Love the instructors; Aimee, Wendy, Joe, Marissa, Andrea, Heidi, Rebecca, Tonya. They're all knowledgeable, and keep the classes fun and worthwhile. My boggest gripe with PAC is i wish the people at the back desk would acknowledge members when they leave. Rick and the Saturday crew are good at this, but too often as I'm walking out, nothing is said. Just a simple "Thanks for coming in" would be appreciated. (And don't get me started on the "Lifetime" membership...)

The extremely high cost of membership is the first deterrent. This is Ritz Carlton pricing for Super 8 quality. Could maybe pass for a Holiday Inn, if you squint. Though you cannot break your contact, PAC reserves the right to increase membership fees at their discretion and whimsy. Pretty good way to get locked into an extreme membership increase with no legal recourse. Deterrent two. The fees for everything nonsense needs to end. Any place that charges bogus sign up fees or towel fees or locker fees...soon they'll put parking meters in their own lot and charge fees for parking, too. No thanks. Deterrent three. The PAC is overpriced and it's nothing special. If they eliminated the nonsense fees, reduced membership rates to $30-$40 (a realistic and reasonable rate, given the ratty condition and state of the place), and eliminated contracts this place would be ideal. Until then watch out for the duct taped carpets that will trip you, machines that are designed very well for holding out of order signs, and fees for toilet paper use (OK, making that up but I've given them more ideas. I need to stop).

I'm disappointed and shocked that the new owners are raising rates on existing members, despite the agreement at the time of initial sign-on that rates would not increase for as long as you remain a member. That was one of their selling point at the time that I signed up about 7 years ago and they have honored that promise until now. I'm sure there are other gyms that still have and honor a "no rate increase" policy. Go there. I wouldn't be surprised if the new owners of PAC plan to raise rates on their members every year going forward. There's a bright side -- this policy reversal might thin out the sheer volume of members. There were times when the place was packed and you couldn't even find a parking spot.
