Pony camp at Pony Tales Farm, a nonprofit horse and pony rescue in Columbia Station, where children ride and learn to communicate with and care for horses. Sessions are structured by age (roughly 2-6 and 6-12) and cover riding basics in both Western and English styles plus horse care. The farm also runs a therapeutic riding program for students with special needs.

★Naudia DavenportVery unprofessional! I tried to inquire about a price for my child’s upcoming 4th birthday. Firsthand I was met with unexpected and unnecessary aggression and overall rudeness. I brushed it off but as the conversation went on it became progressively worse as we discussed prices. I addressed the situation and chose not to proceed with this company. Shortly after I received another message which I’m not sure if it was sent intentionally overall expressing the distaste of working with African Americans honestly the message was disheartening. To take your hate and display it towards my child and I upset me a great deal! The message is included below.
★★★★★Robin DiazThe people on this farm were so amazing! I called on a Tuesday looking for a place for my daughter and some friends to go horseback riding to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. Not only did they accommodate us, but they were so great with the kids, gave a great lesson, was affordable, AND they got the guitar out and sang happy birthday to my daughter. So fun! My daughter will never forget this memory. Truly these people have such a heart for horses and children! Thank you Pony Tales Farm!
★★★★★Lee MooreDid my granddaughter's birthday gathering here for something different. I am so glad I found this farm. Loraine was so sweet and accommodating. Our group had 8 kids ages 11 months to 13 years old and EVERY kid had a teachable, loving moment here! The experience as a family will always be worth the $. Which was unbelievably reasonable for the time. All the kids touched and rode the ponies, even the baby sat on a pony and brushed them! The kids were in awe from the scenery, they loved the openness of the farm and enjoyed learning about the animals! The birthday girl received a serenade from the singing cowboy and we ALL square-danced! Good old-fashioned family fun! We will definitely come back!
