Plattekill Mountain

Plattekill Mountain is a family-owned ski area in Roxbury, in the western Catskills of New York, with its own ski and snowboard school. Instruction ranges from one-on-one lessons to small private group lessons for every ability level, including first-time skiers and snowboarders. Children take lessons at the school, with private instruction for youngsters who are just getting started. The Vajtay family has owned and run the mountain since 1993, and all of its trails lead down to a single base lodge.
