Pittsburgh Center for Arts & Media is a nonprofit visual and media arts organization whose Shadyside campus in Pittsburgh hosts summer art camps for school-aged children ages 6-17. Extended care is offered before and after the camp day at a weekly rate, and income-based tuition assistance is available to summer camp students. The center's weekend classes for children run in four-session blocks for ages 6-8, 8-10 and 11-13, covering drawing and painting, relief printmaking, bookmaking, claymation and stop-motion animation. Students under 18 may not enroll in adult classes, and each youth program is limited to its stated age group.

The only reason they get 4 instead of 5 stars was: I wanted to buy a piece, a piece without a red dot, and after growing attached to the idea I was told the pierce was sold. Sad, oh sadness.
