The Pipestone Summer Music Camp is a week-long strings camp held at the Methow Valley Community Center in Twisp and run by Cascadia Music, a local nonprofit. It is split into two sections: String Orchestra, 9:30am-2pm, for children 8 and older who have played strings at least a year and read music in first position; and Chamber Music, 12:15-5pm, for students with three or more years of experience who read music fluently. Faculty are musicians and teachers from Seattle and the local area, and the week ends with a public concert at the Merc Playhouse. The 2026 camp runs July 27-31 and registration is by printed form mailed with payment.
