Pioneer Valley Ballet is a nonprofit ballet school and performing company in Easthampton's Eastworks building, with summer programs open to ages 4-20 taught by faculty who have danced with Boston Ballet, Colorado Ballet, Ballet Florida and Juilliard Dance Ensemble. Its summer offering is classes rather than a camp: a creative movement and storytelling program for ages 4-7 meets four Saturdays, 9:00am-12:00pm ($200), while technique programs for ages 8-10, 10-14 and 11-and-up meet two or three late afternoons a week from 4:30pm over five weeks. Beginners are welcome in the youth divisions; the pre-advanced and advanced track requires a placement class for non-PVB students. Dancers may register for select weeks or the full program.
