Powered by GooglePiedmont Wildlife Center is an amazing organization with a wildlife staff who prioritizes animal welfare and safety above all. If you want to learn about NC wildlife, including raptors and turtles and more, and connect with nature in a meaningful way, you should visit Piedmont!
We invited Pumpkin, Apollo, and Sheldon into our office to celebrate all of the work our team has been doing over the past few months. Needless to say, this was a wonderful way for us to take a break and learn about some cool critters in our own backyard. Noelle was amazing in coordinating logistics and Lauren was so knowledgeable! If you're looking for something fun, easy, and exciting to share with your team - 10/10 recommend the Animal Ambassador program!
I highly recommend Piedmont Wildlife Center. Our students had a wonderful experience interacting with the different animals and listened to the explanations provided by Ms. Noelle. From our Toddlers to our Children House students, all the children had an unforgettable moment.
Loved having the chance to see all the raptors and the Raven. We had a guided tour and it was FANTASTIC! Got to hear their back stories and learn about their habits, skills, personalities, and behaviors in the wild! Highly recommended! (Love the Screech Owl Arlo and Tony the Horned Owl!)
I have been at Piedmont for over 10 years now. I started off as a camper and am now a contracted educator. Some of the best memories I have growing up were made at PWC. Very knowledgeable staff, and all of the animals are well cared for. Leigh Farm Park is also a great place to walk around and enjoy nature. Highly recommend scheduling a program from here or just stopping by for a visit!
