★★★★★Kurt OlsonJerry Murphy's review is incorrect. The lake is owned by the Lower Loup NRD. Pibel Bible Camp is private property adjacent to the lake. Jerry was not at Pibel Bible Camp to take his pictures. They were taken from the public access road next to the rocky banks of the lake. I can say living next to the lake, that the NRD takes great care of it's property. The free camping sights are regularly groomed and the outhouses are kept clean. It is a nice FREE camping facility with great fishing right there. The woods and out of bounds type areas are not mowed, but left in their natural state. Just a mistake on his part. Be sure to fact check any of the reviews you read.
