The Pend Oreille Arts Council is a longtime Sandpoint arts nonprofit that presents performing- and visual-arts programming across North Idaho. For children it runs Sandpoint Showstoppers, a five-week series of theater workshops for grades 3-6 at the Panida Theater covering how a stage show is developed, plus the Kaleidoscope Kids hands-on art booth at its summer Arts & Crafts Fair.

Took a mosaic class Saturday from 9-12. Great teacher, provided everything you needed for$35. We paid an extra 12$ for the supplies we used.

We’re member artists and we are looking forward to doing more with POAC. The new gallery and studio is super! Claire is a top-notch director.

Beautiful art pieces. Wonderful staff. Classes for all different types of art, crafts, and cultures. They are responsible for the Annual Art Fair, the Art Walk, various exhibitions at the Panida. The list goes on and on!! So happy to live in a town where POAC is available to, not only adults, but children as well!

Lovely street fair. Lots of varied art; jewelry, photography, crafts, food, fabrics. It was warm but tolerable with a breeze. Will go again next year to find more gifts!

This is a rediscovered post-pandemic treasure. A myriad of of art and music classes animate this 1910 architectural beauty in the center of town on Main Street. The classes are small and run by accomplished professionals who love to teach. I highly recommend visiting the building for it’s wonders inside and out.
